Hello everyone. How are you today? All is well is an answer i’d be expecting. I’ll keep the intro brief and go onto RRF. For today, we’ll go back to the X series and have a look at an item. Today’s RRF is: ‘Metal Generator’. Well, Rockman X8 is definitely not short of items, and this here is one of them. This item here is used by every playable character in the game. This auto-use item creates metals as you walk along in a stage. It only works with walking, not dashing. After you take a few steps, you’ll automatically gain 24 metals. This can be a real handy way to rack up some more metals so that you can buy more items and weapons and upgrades from the lab. This item, combined with collecting some real high metal can make it much easier and quicker to obtain some items. Also, if you just want to rack up metals fast, you can just walk around aimlessly and watch it go up 24 just non-stop. A good way to do this is to go to Noah’s Park and just walk to the left and your character will walk non-stop in place and collect metals. Just hold the controller stick down and walk away and it’ll go non-stop… or until the controller stops. In order to obtain this item, you’ll need to find the rare metal for it, and it is well hidden and you really have to work hard for this one. This one is found in the Troia Base, right at the very end of all of the “training” areas. You have to get a perfect rank in all of the areas in order to obtain it… basically have the top row lit all the way across it. Using Zero with the D Glaive or Sigma Blade helps out here alot, so does Axl using the Ice Gattling and Ray Gun and the full-charged shots from the Icarus Armour on some parts. Overall, at first it can be a challenge to obtain it, but its definitely rewarding once you do acquire this item and its one that everyone should try and get first.
